Our Journey
“No one is born an artisan. We become one through time. My hands did not learn sushi from books; they were shaped by cities and mountain peaks. They first learned patience in Nepal, where resilience is a way of life. They discovered precision in Paris, movement in London, and a sacred respect for the ocean in Portugal. For ten years, I lived as a nomad. I carried this dream of an atelier across Europe, searching for the place where I could finally lay down my bags. It was here, in Belgium, that the revelation came: my journey was not an escape, but a quest. VUTU means “Traditional kitchen” Today, my odyssey ends here — so that yours may begin. What I place before you is not simply sushi. It is my final gesture. It is my life, at last brought safely into harbour.”
